About Paul Pirrone
Born and raised in Bedford Township, Paul Pirrone’s roots run deep here. He was raised by parents who taught him the value of loyalty, dedication, and hard work. Those values led him to become a Union Ironworker at the age of 18.
His work ethic led him to leadership positions such as being appointed delegate for the Northwestern Ohio Building Trades, appointed to the executive board, and appointed apprenticeship coordinator for Local 55. During his work as apprenticeship coordinator, he became interested in government and this ultimately led him to become involved at a deeper level and run for Township Government. A term as Park Commissioner started the ball rolling and led to a term as Township Trustee.
Now, after being elected in 2016 as Township Supervisor, Paul’s service to Bedford is his full-time job. Under Paul’s leadership during his first term, many positive changes have taken place. Reduced spending at Township Hall, Improved roads, grant money received, and improved services for residents (i.e. prompt snow removal and a yard waste disposal site at Mulch King) are a few of these positive changes. Paul has also been a part of the Bedford Blizzard Fest and the Temperance Street Fest committees. These both helped to bring the community together in a positive, fun way.
On a personal note, Paul married Stephanie at the age of 23 and together, they are raising 5 beautiful children right here in the township he has always loved. Paul is a chaplain for the YMCA, an active member of Compelled Church, and enjoys the outdoors and golfing in his free time.
